Before any rug leaves our warehouse, it's unrolled fully on an inspection table under bright light. We're checking three things: pile density across the whole surface, the tightness of the cotton foundation, and whether the backing is stitched flat with no loose corners.

The Science Behind the Formulation/Build

Wool pile is tufted or hand-knotted into a cotton warp and weft, then a jute or woven backing is stitched on to add weight and grip. The tighter that foundation weave, the less a rug will stretch or ripple over time.

• Quality check: Pile is checked for bald spots, loose threads, and even coloring before packing.
• Traceability: Every batch is tied to the mill and weaving run it came from.

Why This Matters for Daily Use

A rug that skips inspection can hide an uneven weave that only shows up after a few weeks of foot traffic, when one section starts to ripple or the edge starts to curl. Catching that before dispatch means fewer surprises once it's on your floor.
